SkySpark modules

Public holidays, with no account and no key.

Building an occupancy profile.

rdOpenHolidays — At a glance
The problem it solves

Occupancy profiles, consumption baselines, schedules: all need to know whether a date is a public holiday, and none should hard-code it or depend on a remote service at calculation time.

The work it does for you

rdOpenHolidays makes French national public holidays available in SkySpark, from a free public service, with no account or key. Dates are kept locally and refreshed periodically: knowing whether a date is a holiday requires no network call. For an international portfolio, another module in the range covers other countries.

Benefits for you
  • No administrative prerequisite: deployable the same day.
  • The daily check never leaves the network.
  • A building block for anything calendar-dependent.
  • Next year's dates arrive on their own.
  • A consumption baseline that no longer mistakes a holiday for drift.
Use cases
  • Building an occupancy profile.
  • Making a consumption baseline reliable.
  • Deploying on a site with restricted Internet access.
  • Combining several calendar sources.
