French public holidays, from the State's own source.

Justifying a schedule to a client.

rdJoursFeriesDataGouv — At a glance
The problem it solves

A schedule that ignores public holidays heats an empty building, and an energy model that ignores them attributes to chance gaps the calendar explains. Keeping the list by hand means a spreadsheet nobody updates.

The work it does for you

rdJoursFeriesDataGouv supplies SkySpark with mainland France's eleven national public holidays, from the State's public source, with no account or key. It keeps them in the project and answers "is this date a public holiday?" with no network call: an Internet outage does not make a calculation fail. Overseas territories and local specifics are not covered.

Benefits for you
  • The official source: where the dates come from stops being an issue with a client.
  • Nothing to provision: no key, no account, no quota.
  • The calculation does not depend on the network.
  • It combines with the range's other public holiday source.
  • A schedule that does not heat an empty building.
Use cases
  • Justifying a schedule to a client.
  • Feeding an occupancy calculation.
  • Making an energy model reliable.
  • Securing through redundant sources.
