Niagara modules

Place a portfolio on a map, inside the station.

Supervising a distributed portfolio.

rdMaps — At a glance
The problem it solves

In a tree, you must open each site to know whether it is fine: on a distributed portfolio, the operator does not know where to start, and on-call staff do not know where to go.

The work it does for you

rdMaps shows a portfolio's sites on a map, inside the Niagara station. Each site — or building, substation, metering point — is a marker whose colour follows, live, the state of the points attached to it: a temperature out of range, a fault, an abnormal power draw. The map is composed with the mouse in Workbench, with no code, on the base map of your choice, including one hosted internally.

Benefits for you
  • A portfolio readable at a glance: you only open what is at fault.
  • Colour follows the real state of the points, not a manual update.
  • The base map is a choice: street map, aerial imagery, cadastre, or an internal base.
  • Composed with the mouse: no code to take over at the next maintenance.
  • A site with no Internet access keeps a working map.
Use cases
  • Supervising a distributed portfolio.
  • On-call duty: the first screen says where to go.
  • Presenting a portfolio's state to a client.
  • Site with no Internet access.
  • Locating equipment across a large site.
