Niagara modules

Visualize a Niagara station's history.

Composing a site's operations screen, viewable from a browser.

rdCharts — At a glance
The problem it solves

To read a curve, data is exported to a third-party tool: one more copy to maintain, a possible gap between what is shown and what was measured, and an export chain to watch over.

The work it does for you

rdCharts adds web visualization of historical and real-time data to a Niagara station, where the data is produced — web page, Px view, dashboard — with no prior export and no third-party tool. It reads, without distinction, histories from the local station, from a remote station reached over the inter-station mesh, and from a SkySpark server: for the operator, provenance disappears, they see a curve. It builds on the histories already configured, without changing the points or their collection.

Benefits for you
  • Render without exporting: the data stays in the station, the view comes to it.
  • A chart drops into an existing view like any other element, with no external page to host.
  • The same data through three doors: web page, supervision view or third-party tool, without duplicating configuration.
  • Three sources, one interface: local, remote or SkySpark, the portfolio's topology never shows.
Use cases
  • Composing a site's operations screen, viewable from a browser.
  • Enriching a business synoptic with its points' history.
  • Comparing two sites on one chart.
  • Reporting without exporting, with a screen that is always current.
  • Feeding an existing tool with the same series.
