Prerequisites

Platform and compatibility

The modules in the Niagara range run on Niagara 4.13 and later. They open the station through standard interfaces (HTTP and JSON, REST, WebSocket) and deliver to your IT systems via Syslog, MQTT or Kafka. Niagara Framework is developed by Tridium and licensed by many manufacturers under their own brands. The modules install on this installed base. The compatibility of any given station depends on its version and licence and we check it with you.

FAQ

An rd* module is a software module written and maintained by Reloaded. It installs on a Niagara 4 station (4.13 or later) and adds a capability: reaching the portfolio, opening the station to other tools, modelling, routing alarms, delivering data to IT systems, visualizing.

Yes, with the “Reach the portfolio” family. rdMesh sets up a peer-to-peer network between the stations in a portfolio, which passes through a firewall that only allows outbound connections. rdTunnelCore carries Workbench, HTTPS or platform access over it to a remote station.

rdNorthbound exports histories and alarms to corporate IT tools (Syslog, MQTT, Kafka). If the remote collector goes down, the records are redelivered when it comes back so that the data stays complete.

Yes, with rdOzw, a Niagara 4 driver for OZW772 and OZW672 gateways: it discovers the connected devices, exposes their points for reading and writing, raises faults as alarms and synchronizes schedules in both directions.

The rd* modules are priced on request. They are sold under a perpetual licence with annual maintenance. Put together your selection or contact us for a no-obligation request.

The modules install on Niagara 4.13 and later. Because Niagara is licensed by many manufacturers under their own brands, we check with you whether a given station is compatible according to its version and licence.
