Niagara modules

Bring Siemens OZW gateways into a Niagara station.

Taking over an existing Siemens portfolio without replacing the installation.

rdOzw — At a glance
The problem it solves

A portfolio fitted with Siemens OZW gateways stays an island: its devices, faults and schedules are managed separately, point by point, in another console.

The work it does for you

rdOzw is a Niagara 4 driver for Siemens OZW gateways (OZW772, OZW672). It discovers the field devices connected to the gateway — SYNCO/KNX and RVL/LPB —, brings their points into the station, and allows them to be read as well as written. Siemens equipment then appears alongside everything else, with its alarms, histories and schedules.

Benefits for you
  • Discovery instead of data entry: what was typed point by point becomes a selection from a list.
  • Faults surface as Niagara alarms, in the same chain as all the others.
  • Schedules stay synchronized both ways, exceptions and holidays included.
  • The gateway's energy indicators are tracked in the station.
  • A Niagara driver, not a custom integration: same gestures, same tree.
Use cases
  • Taking over an existing Siemens portfolio without replacing the installation.
  • Supervising a heterogeneous site in a single tree.
  • Regaining control of schedules from the station.
  • Monitoring a site's energy.
