Niagara modules

Deliver history and alarms to IT, without losing any.

Feeding security monitoring.

rdNorthbound — At a glance
The problem it solves

BMS data stays in the supervisor; and when it is exported, whatever is sent during a network outage is lost without anyone knowing — a history full of holes serves neither an energy balance nor an incident analysis.

The work it does for you

rdNorthbound exports a Niagara station's history and alarms to the enterprise's IT systems — security monitoring, observability, incident management — in the formats they already use. If the remote collector goes down, the station holds what was not delivered and re-delivers it when the collector returns. The length of outage absorbed depends on the retention capacity, sized at commissioning.

Benefits for you
  • A network outage does not create a gap: what was not delivered is re-delivered.
  • Complete data you can draw conclusions from.
  • IT receives it in its own format, with no adapter to develop.
  • Building alarms join enterprise monitoring.
  • Traceability you can demonstrate.
Use cases
  • Feeding security monitoring.
  • Building reliable energy tracking.
  • Opening an incident automatically.
  • Meeting a traceability requirement.
