Niagara modules

Open a station's business trees to an external tool.

Feeding a dashboard with the real tree.

rdHierarchy — At a glance
The problem it solves

The trees that carry a portfolio's meaning — which meter feeds what, which zone belongs to which building — stay locked in Workbench; third-party tools rebuild an approximate copy that drifts.

The work it does for you

rdHierarchy makes a Niagara station's navigation hierarchies — energy metering tree, electrical distribution, site → buildings → zones → equipment structure — available to external tools through a standard web interface. A dashboard, a CMMS or a script queries the station and receives the real tree, instead of walking it by hand. The module reads existing hierarchies without modifying them: their quality remains a prerequisite.

Benefits for you
  • The portfolio's business organization becomes usable in your other tools.
  • No second model to maintain, so no divergence discovered on audit day.
  • Holds up on very large trees without slowing the station.
  • The tool asks for what it needs, not the whole tree.
Use cases
  • Feeding a dashboard with the real tree.
  • Populating a CMMS or asset repository without double entry.
  • Automating an integration.
  • Checking a model's coherence: equipment attached nowhere, empty zone.
